This website, www.macmillanstanley.com, is published by MacMillan & Stanley, PLLC, a Florida law firm. This page explains what information the site collects and how we use it. The short version: almost nothing.
What the site collects
The site has no contact form, no comment section, no newsletter sign-up and no user accounts. You cannot type anything into it, and we do not ask you to.
Like every website, the server that hosts this site keeps standard access logs: the Internet address of the device that requested a page, the page requested, the date and time, and the browser type. We use those logs only to keep the site running and secure. We do not use them to identify visitors.
The site does not use advertising or analytics trackers.
Cookies
The site itself does not set cookies to track you. Your browser may store ordinary technical cookies needed to display the pages.
How we use information
We use the server logs described above to operate and protect the site. We do not sell, rent or trade personal information, and we do not share visitor information with anyone except our website host, which processes it only to run the site, and law enforcement if the law requires it.
Contacting the firm
If you call or e-mail us after visiting the site, we will use what you tell us to respond to you. Contacting us through this site or by phone or e-mail does not make you a client of the firm and does not create an attorney-client relationship. Please do not send confidential or time-sensitive information until we have agreed to represent you and told you how to send it. Information that existing clients give us is handled under the attorney-client privilege and the Rules Regulating The Florida Bar, not under this policy.

The site links to Google Maps for directions. Google’s own privacy policy applies when you use it.
Children
The site is not directed to children and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
Changes
If the site begins to collect information in a new way, for example by adding a contact form or visitor analytics, we will update this page and change the effective date at the top.
