Tom Stanley is Board Certified by The Florida Bar in both Wills, Trusts and Estates and Real Estate. As of 2017, Tom was one of only four attorneys in the State of Florida holding both of these Board Certified Specialist designations. These certifications by The Florida Bar require peer recommendation, experience and a written examination. Tom is a third-generation attorney and the owner of MacMillan & Stanley, PLLC. The firm was started in 1946 in Delray Beach by his grandfather, Neil E. MacMillan. Carol MacMillan Stanley, Neil MacMillan’s daughter, practiced law at this office from 1970, leading the firm’s estate planning practice for more than five decades. Prior to her retirement she was Board Certified by The Florida Bar in Wills, Trusts and Estates.
